Our global goal is to return to the environment, at a level that supports aquatic life, the water we use in our manufacturing operations through comprehensive wastewater treatment.
In Australia Coca-Cola Amatil also has its own specific goals:

Ensure all wastewater discharged meets applicable regulatory requirements.

Maintain an effluent quality that will have no adverse effects on fish or other aquatic life in receiving waters.

Maintain and operate treatment facilities efficiently.
Water regulations
We will continue to work to ensure our wastewater in Australia meets both all applicable local regulatory requirements as well as internal Coca-Cola company regulations on wastewater treatment.
We do this as we believe we have a responsibility not only for the quality of water that goes into our beverages, but also the quality of water that is discharged from our plants as a result of our manufacturing processes.
